Series 3 This work was inspired by the magnitude and emotional impact of published works by Auguste Rodin and Paul T. Granlund, both of whom are sculptors. They have freeze framed raw emotion and individual character in their sculptures. Central to the drawing is Granlund’s sculpture “Adolescence” and Rodin’s sculpture “Orpheus and Eurydice”. Eve’s naive poor choice at love nails humanity to a cross for eternity. A burst of new life leaps from the corpus... but forgiveness is withheld.
