Dreams come True

After years of sending e-mail we came together from across the globe to witness a dream come true, the launch of the STS-95 Mission on Discovery. Five days were synchronized in perfection.

The fiery launch billowed white clouds for miles, likened to Cinderella’s pumpkin coach. The frenzy and activity grew from radicchio in the lower center left and head of lettuce in the top right.

A puppet master must have created this fantasy of new life. The love, the laughter, the penetrating embrace... friends and frolic formed a union but...

...Then we had to part...A wall of separation after only just one week...

Headed forward in the direction of empty launch pad 39B, the future is tomorrow...

Take each day as it comes...it will be brightened with remembrances and not darkened in a storm.

The days are still a glow with love.

The feelings are alive each day with ever pounding beats...at just the thought, or name, or voice...the seeds of friendship grow very deep...

With the universe in its orbit, and love alive in the world, the continents might separate the bodies but never penetrate the mind...

For dreams are made in Heaven, and if it comes to pass, my heart will burst with gladness and my spirit will be set free....
